Located in Atlanta, GA
Elegant eglomisé mirrored glass panel painting by Leon Masson (1911 - 1987). This finely etched plaque features a young naked woman on a balcony with a blackbird. Sculptor Louise Nevelson in her NYC studio
By Jack Mitchell
Located in Senoia, GA
11 x 14" vintage silver gelatin photograph of sculptor Louise Nevelson in her New York City studio in 1983. Comes directly from the Jack Mitchell Archives with a certificate of authenticity.
Jack Mitchell, (1925-2013) bulging photographic portfolio of actors, writers, painters, musicians and especially dancers describes a pictorial history of the arts in the late 20th century. Mr. Mitchell, who took hundreds of pictures for The New York Times, was both a portraitist and a capturer of complex motion. An expert in lighting, he worked mostly, though not entirely, in black and white, and he was known — by his subjects, by the magazine and newspaper editors he worked for, and by critics — as someone who could make a photograph reveal character.
Jack Mitchell was the official photographer for the American Ballet Theater, and he chronicled the work of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater for more than thirty years. When he retired in 1995, he had fulfilled more than 5,000 assignments in black and white, and nearly a thousand in color. He photographed more than 160 covers for Dance magazine, and his photos have appeared in Time, Life, Newsweek, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, Vogue and many other publications.
Mitchell’s photographs are in the collections of the National Portrait Gallery, the Museum of African American History and Culture, and the Smithsonian Archives of American Art, among others. The 2019 USPS Black Heritage postage stamp honoring American performer Gregory Hines...

Porte Rouge, 2006
By Antoni TAULÉ
Located in Atlanta, GA
Taulé was born in 1945 in Sabadell, Barcelona. His father imparted the taste for painting to Antoni as a boy as the young artist watched him paint. After his primary studies, he began studying architecture in Barcelona and graduated in 1970. In 1965, he arrived in Paris and worked in architectural firms. It was Sartre's Paris, the construction of Unesco, the year of Le Corbusier's death and the end of Chandigarh, the French Cinematheque and Antonioni's films. Since the age of 14, he has never stopped painting and made his first personal exhibition in 1966 at the Academie de Belles Arts in Sabadell.
Upon receiving his degree in architecture, he worked on the construction of l’Université autonome de Barcelone for a year. In 1971, he was asked to work on the development of a large shipyard on the small island of Formentera. There he met Laetitia Ney of Elchingen, who he would go on to marry. He devoted himself entirely to painting, and Formentera, like Paris, became one of his favorite places in both his life and to work.
His first exhibition in Paris was in 1975 with Mathias Fels, presented to him by Hervé Télémaque—showing many paintings of his young daughter Djamilla, then three years old. The exhibition was titled, Espace hors temps (Space out of Time), with a foreword by Alain Jouffroy. In 1976, Taulé exhibited Contre-Jour (Against Day) at Fabien Boulakia on rue Bonaparte with a preface by Gérald Gassiot-Talabot and in Barcelona at the Aimé Maeght gallery—an exhibition visited by Joan Miró and Alexander Calder. In 1977, he exhibited at the Beaubourg gallery, with then associates Nahon and Trigano. In 1983, he met Jorge Luis Borges and Julio Cortázar, who wrote the novella Fin d’étape (End of Stage) for Taulé That same year, he was named Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters) by Jack Lang...

Where There Is Love There Is Life NYC ICONS Show
By Mr. Brainwash
Located in Draper, UT
Controversial L.A. “street artist”, Mr. Brainwash takes to the New York City art scene with the opening of his “Icons” show in the meat packing district on Sunday February 14th. First brought to the public eye when LA Weekly profiled the artist in a cover story, Mr. Brainwash continues to be a much-discussed figure as the star of infamous street artist Banksy’s documentary “Exit Through the Gift Shop”, which premiered last month at the Sundance Film Festival.
Thierry Guetta or “Mr. Brainwash” jam packed his massive art Icons show into two floors of a 15,000 square foot space. The show features portraits of pop culture icons; Madonna, Obama, Michael Jackson, James Brown and the Beatles, among many others, all interpreted through old broken records placed on canvas and silk screens with touches of spray paint. Wether you love him or you hate him, Art Icons is sure to be one of the largest and most lavishly funded art shows of the decade.
Mr. Brainwash: Icons is ran from March 31 at 415 West 13th Street between Ninth Avenue and Washington Street in the Meatpacking District...

Warhol Superstar Holly Woodlawn personally autographed & kissed Limited Edition
By Jack Mitchell
Located in Senoia, GA
In October 2015 the ailing Holly Woodlawn (1946-2015) completed the final autograph session of her life. Seated on her hospital bed in her Hollywood assisted living facility (with breaks for cigarettes and pain medication), Woodlawn lipstick kissed each photo of an edition of 47 Jack Mitchell photographs of herself and inscribed each, “Love, Holly Woodlawn” in her own hand. When the project was completed after several hours, she said, “Thank you for taking me away from reality for a while; it felt great to be a star again.” Holly passed away just seven weeks later, on December 6, 2015.

Cheval
Located in Atlanta, GA
Born in Melun in 1957, Jager is a French sculptor and painter. Passionate about equitation, he is famous for making representations of horses in plaster and bronze in all their forms. He studied at the School of Fine Arts in Dijon and is currently living in France. Rather than just being an artist, he describes himself as a dreamer: unpredictable and passionate. For Frédéric JAGER, beauty is a must. His style, classic, figurative, is stunning in this world of contemporary art. Bringing bronze to life, his works always capture the energy and beauty of the horse “Because unlike men, a horse is always beautiful, always strong, always sad.”
Several large companies, such as HERMES, NINA RICCI, goldsmith MELLERIO, CHEVIGNON, SOCIETE GENERALE, HORSE WOOD, watches PEQUIGNET, SWEATERIE, have called upon him for sculptures, decorative objects, advertising works, or trophies for the races.
He has had numerous solo exhibitions, and has also participated in a myraid of art fairs such as the ‘Salon International de Saumur’, the Animal Sculpture Biennale of Rambouillet, the Derby Horse in Art...
