The top features a moulded edge, it has four long graduated drawers above a shaped apron and it is raised on splayed bracket feet. Fitted with decorative brass handles and with working locks and key. An elegant two part mahogany breakfront sideboard or china cabinet by Schmieg & Kotzian, its upper case with a decorative carved cornice with contrasting key inlay, surmounting four glazed glass doors which open to three adjustable shelves with plate rails, over a lower case with three felt-lined divided flatware frieze drawers over four pullout / pull-out serving shelves above four doors, the two center doors opening to three linen drawers, flanked by two single shelf storage compartments. The base features beautiful crotched mahogany veneer drawer fronts with cockbeaded borders and heavy brass pulls, with the crotched mahogany continuing on the door fronts, accented with applied decorative borders and corner rosettes.
