This is a "vault find" watch, it has been locked up for nearly 50 years, which means it needs a service. We will service it for you as part of the purchase price before it is shipped out to you. This will delay shipping for a few days of course.
LIFETIME SERVICE COMMITMENT
This great looking and classic man's pocket watch is still fitted with a flawless and original Kiln Fired Dial. These dials were made of glass and fired in a furnace at 1500 degrees. The watch is all original as well, still with its original blued steel hands. The watch is very dependable even now, but it should be serviced (which we will do included in the price). The cuvette is finely engraved with a presentation to a Captain Keller. Wherever he is, his watch is still running and will continue to run for another 200 years with a service occasionally.

Howard’s creativity helped establish the principles of industrialization and standardized parts. Howards watches were rugged and very accurate as well. Their case designs were innovative as well. Howard watches were used by scientists and engineers in military and industry because they were rugged and dependable.
In 1903, the Howard Watch Company was acquired by the Keystone Watch...
