Romina and her team thoroughly enjoyed reimagining the great room in this Knowlton country house. To make the main floor feel effortlessly liveable, and contemporary enough for the busy family, they balanced refined locally sourced antiques with understated custom upholstered pieces in low-key neutrals, which give the stunning collectibles plenty of breathing space. They finished the look with distinctive accents including timeworn wicker, leggy florals, a vintage Turkish tea tray, and a rugged, splattered sign-painter’s stool.
