Amand has studied Architecture and has a Master's Degree in English Literature. She studiied painting and drawing at the Art Students League using live models. Her work has been in exhibited in galleries in the U.S. and in Europe.
These drawings are untitled, inviting the viewer to create his or her own narrative. The subjects come from her imagination, with influence from German Expressionism, Bosch, Robert Crumb, and Paula Rego.
