Gino Hollander: 1924-2015. Well listed American artist with Auction results over $14,000. He lived in California, Colorado, and Spain. This fabulous mixed media measures 11 1/4 inches high by 9 1/4 inches wide. The frame measures 18 inches high by 16 inches wide.

Gino Hollander
Born in 1924 in Newark, NJ, Gino Hollander attended Rutgers University before serving in the U.S. Army’s Mountain Division Ski Troop during World War II. Hollander had a successful career as a documentary filmmaker throughout the 1950s. In 1960, he decided to focus on painting after becoming friends with Abstract Expressionist painters at the Cedar Tavern. He died at the age of 91 in 2015 in Newport Beach, CA.
