Maryna Vashchenko was born and lives in Kyiv, Ukraine. She is an active Ukrainian artist working in several styles: namely the Pictorial and Graphic Arts and Vytynanky (papercutting).
Each graphic work is a study of own subconscious, an intuitive research of aesthetic ideal.
The power of imagination tends to rethink the surrounding reality and to create a parallel dimension in which the ordinary is reborn into the unusual, and artistic images exist in a special space and time, dominated by a harmonious world of nature: plants, animals, celestial bodies, revealing the mystery of magical reality.
The night changes people's lives, their emotions are absorbed by the ocean of secrets. In the picture, the night envelops the earth with infinite space, in its darkness hides a deeper uncertainty that confuses the imagination of night observers. From the abyss of space, intricate non-existent creatures burst into the space of the sky, attracting the eye with a strange strangeness. Such a mystical phenomenon surprises with the birth of an infinite number of monsters that exist but do not frighten because they are a product of imagination.
