"Freemotion II" is an original hand-stitched embroidery on tulle by American artist Andrea Farina. The piece ships in the pictured, simple, white frame and measures 10.25"h x 12.25" w. ABOUT // Andrea is most known for her intricate embroideries and gouache paintings but she continues to experiment with a wide variety of mediums. Much of her work explores the human body and what defines us beyond our anatomy. She often partners vulnerable figures with intimately detailed patterns to give these intangible entities a physical form. In 2008, Andrea graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in Communication Design. By day she works as a Creative Director and spends nights and weekends pursuing her creative" passions at Firing Circuits Studios in Norwalk, CT.
