«The Starry Night #2» by the Russian emerging artist Timur Zagirov is a reproduction of the famous painting "The Starry Night" by Vincent van Gogh. FREE worldwide DELIVERY from artist's studio in Russia! It is a work #2 of Limited Edition of 5. Zagirov's «The Starry Night #2» is created from square wooden blocks with different shapes, different saw angles, and colors, which gives to the piece this unusual pixelization effect, an entertaining game of light and shadows. The image perception changes depending on the viewer's distance from the piece. Due to the peculiarities of Zagirov's technique, his creative process is quite long and difficult from idea to implementation. He pre-visualizes each image and carefully selects main tones. The most time-consuming part is the preparation of each individual building element of the artwork. The artist chops and shapes wood blocks by hand then polishes and paints each element individually. Color accuracy and coating stability are very important for the final result. To protect his technique, the artist keeps the paint composition in secret. The artwork is hand-signed and numbered by the artist and certified with the included COA card. Packed in a wooden crate. Delivery time for international shipments is usually 14-28 business days. And since the original works of art were known to almost everyone, their reimagined versions instantly responded to the audience.
