this is a fantasy painting based on a photo of my husband's niece when she was little, a little photo of a charming child that I imagined had a good imagination. In creating this painting, I ventured into a mystical union of the natural and surreal. Through the medium of oil, I depicted a young child, innocent and wide-eyed, amid a constellation of enigmatic animals and an ethereal woodland. It's a canvas where the tangible meets fantasy, exploring themes of wonder, protection, and the undefined boundaries of a child's imagination. This artwork is an invitation to contemplate and cherish the unspoken whispers of the wild and whimsy, perfect for bringing a sense of mystery and enchantment into any space.
