A beautiful Barbizon School oil painting from the mid 19th century by Jacques Alfred Brielman (1836-1892) . The work has that typical 'Corot inspired' wispy feel to the trees and sky, as well as lovely detailing to the cattle and dog walking their slowly along the rural country lane. An idyllic work and very tranquil.
