About the Item

JJ Galloway is an internationally collected artist known for her whimsical paintings and sculptures that combine people, animals, and food. Using oils, watercolors, and mixed media, her art is meticulously crafted and can be found in collections around the world. This whimsical one-of-a-kind artwork is 12 inches in diameter. It is equipped with a D-ring and ready to hang. This artwork is created with oil paint on wood panel. It is painted on the sides and does not require framing. The artist signs it on the back of the artwork. Convenient local Los Angeles delivery. Affordable Continental U.S. and international shipping are available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included. After earning degrees in Fine Art and Marketing, Galloway worked in public relations for a decade, starting as a reporter for CBS News and later managing PR at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. Her time in these roles deepened her love for wild animals and inspired her to incorporate them into her art. The unique blend of animals and food in her work was inspired by her daughter’s childhood habit of placing food on her head like a crown. Galloway’s art brings joy and nostalgia, often adding humor to collections with her culinary animal portraits. She frequently exhibits in major cities like New York, London, Miami, Chicago, and Los Angeles.

A Talking Pigeon
By Casey McGlynn
Located in Bozeman, MT
This mixed media painting revolves around flying saucers, pigeons, boats, horses, figures and other abstract forms. There is every kind of color on this piece, but non of these colors are very saturated. The composition has an overall "collage" feel. Please contact for more images. Casey McGlynn grew up in rural Ontario, where he would sit in front of the television and draw on old grocery bags and scrap paper tirelessly, creating self-taught surrealist pop art. McGlynn attended the Ontario College of Art and Design, however, he was not enrolled in the visual arts. McGlynn’s work contains reoccurring symbols such as animals from his upbringing, birds from his studio window sill and numbers that derive from when he memorized math tables in his early years. McGlynn’s work is as much about revealing the truth and expressing emotions as it is about documenting actual fact. His paintings reach into a wealth of historical influence and skill. Creating symphonic glyphs on rudimentary, raw quilt-like patterns, the works simultaneously evoke rural Southern quilts...
