Sarah van der Helm's "Tempest" is an oil painting depicting a white horse with a flowing white mane. Devoting herself full-time to her art, Sarah van der Helm has developed the ability to challenge and captivate a viewer with her work. This talent and dedication has led to her being highlighted at group and solo shows in Oklahoma, Texas, Canada, China and Luxembourg. Additionally, she has been recognized with numerous awards and honors. Recently, Sarah was awarded Platinum Palette in the juried national exhibition, Best of America! 2006 presented by the National Oil and Acrylic Painters’ Society. Sarah’s work is a valued part of private and public collections, including the Chongqing Municipal Museum in China. During a three year residency in Luxembourg, her paintings, prints and engravings were honored in Espace Paragon Gallery and Chapelle du Rham. Since returning to U.S., her work has been featured in other international venues, such as the Association Presse Papier de Trois-Rivieres in Quebec, Canada and Gallery Konschthaus beim Engel in Luxembourg.
