I try to paint pictures that draw attention to things that other people might overlook. My choice of subject comes from intuition and is driven by a fierce desire to partake in the stories that unfold around me. For example, when I look at a picture that caught my attention, I get into a certain mood that I think is very important. I register it and then some of it automatically goes into work.
