Divers springing into the air as if in a show! A vintage feel with the styled swimsuits. Not your ordinary sky or water, imaginary place. Freedom of flying or free fall. Her work is characterized by vibrant, bod applications of color and playful, gestural mark-making. Professionally trained and focused on her painting career, Adi continues to explore her figures in space.
At once fluid and structural, the physicality of paint continues to serve as a basis of her research. "I drag my dry brush across the peaks and crevices of my layered paint, happily surprised by the nuances of time recorded. Like an archeologist uncovering hidden layers, I reveal the paintings history through deliberate excavation, discovering nuances that speak to the passage of time and artistic decision making. I make work that celebrates freedom and expansion of the senses, holding the process and the journey at the epicenter of my creations."
