Seascape from M Dubois probably born in XIX, was a plein air artist
⭐Structural Analysis :⭐
This composition is a rocky coast line in the west coast of France (Brittany or Normandy). If the sea appears calm to us, the coastline is largely fragmented. Peaks such as castle rise in the middle of the sea or serve as a barrier against it.
It's also a geometrical painting with a lot of triangular shape.
⭐Color Analysis :⭐
Even if the composition painted with blue and gray tones, the addition of ochre brings a warm touch on the several peaks.
