"High School Dance" WPA Mid-20th Century Modern American Scene Social Realism Heusing (20th Century) "High School Dance" 27 x 32 inches Oil on canvas Signed and dated '47 Lower Right Framed: 32 1/2 x 37 1/2 inches Partial label for "Audubon Artists 7th Annual Exhibition" on verso. We can't find any biography of the artist. This painting is a perfect example of an artwork lost to time. We've had the painting cleaned and restored along with the period frame. The colors really pop. It's now in excellent condition and ready to hang.
