About the Item

The painting "Inner Light" is the third piece in the "Romanticization" series. Its central message is conveyed through the words: "Your inner light will show you the way." This work is a reminder that even in life’s darkest moments, we can find light within ourselves—in our good intentions, kind actions, and love for others. Inner light may shine as a brilliant beam, clearly illuminating your goal and the path to it, or as a soft, gentle glow, tenderly lighting the faces of loved ones and creating a sense of warmth. Whatever form your light takes, it is essential to nurture it and never let it fade. ROMANTICIZATION SERIES The "Romanticization" series is an artistic call to rediscover harmony and love in your own life by shifting your focus. Sometimes circumstances unfold beyond our control, leaving us powerless to change their course. Yet life is unique and unrepeatable, and every moment deserves to be filled with meaning and joy. Romanticizing the everyday is a practice that helps cultivate inner peace, notice small pleasures, and appreciate the uniqueness of each moment. It brings a new sparkle to our daily lives, adorns them with warmth and tenderness, and invites us to embrace the present with love and gratitude. ABOUT ARTIST Olha Vlasova is a Ukrainian artist who has been passionate about painting since childhood. She received her higher art education in Kyiv in the field of fine painting and costume design, which has greatly influenced her work. As an artist, Olha focuses her research on conveying the personal experiences of women who encounter condescension and diminution of their value because of their sensitivity and femininity. She conveys that the concepts of femininity and seriousness, playfulness and rationality are not mutually exclusive and can coexist. Olha speaks about the self-worth and self-sufficiency of women and the deep perception of one's own femininity. She has extensive artistic experience and her works are in private collections in the USA, Norway, Denmark, France and Ukraine.

“Time” artworks series. This series, by Tanya Vasilenko, is devoted to the very difficult to understand and philosophically inexhaustible phenomenon of time. The artwork fuses together the artist’s interpretation of time and her paradoxical use of techniques. Art, being in many respects the philosophical discipline that comprehends a person and their place in the flow of history, deals with the phenomenon of time constantly. The basic periods in the history of human civilization - Ancient Egypt, the Renaissance, and the New Age - are taken as style reference points. Each of these periods has its own understanding of time and its values, and therefore formed a certain personality, a true hero of their time. Such a person leaves a unique trace in the history of time. This does not happen by accident. Since the time of St. Augustine, theologians have interpreted time as the carrier of the moral principle. This "rediscovery of time" as it is articulated in terms of moral responsibility represents a significant paradigm shift in the culture of the postmodern world. This combination of time and space has the figurative expression of the round dial of a watch...
