His canvases are gray with different depths of tone, almost monochrome and this gives depth and poetry to his images.
The talented painter Pavel Polanski belongs to the category of artists who not only describe the existing World but create their own reality on a canvas. And this fictional world, according to the artist, is always associated with the theme of Paradise for him and includes several components: attributes of classic ancient paintings (mainly baroque), images of plants that are iconic for the artist - burdock and nettle, which reduce the pathos of the declared theme - and refined characters, the inhabitants of this copyright space of Utopia. All these attributes, coupled with a color scheme (the pearl gray “photographic” gamma of the main plot is combined with interspersed with bright colors of a Baroque still life, the elements of which are always present in the work) make up a unique and recognizable style and make Pavel Polanski's paintings desirable in any interiors.
As he said before: "Somehow, while reading Carlos Castaneda, I came across an interesting concept - that any person's idea of the world can be expressed with the help of the first objects that came to hand, laying them out in a certain way on a regular table. But this is the meaning of still life as a genre!

This handmade screenprint depicts a Dragonfly inset with a set of geometric shapes in Six colours including Metallic Gold ink. The artwork was created using procedurally generated patterns that overlap creating complex layered geometric shapes. The Metallic ink layer gives the print an extra brilliance and shines showing off the multi-layered liquid patterns on the surface. Limited edition of 50. Its 40 x 40 cm.
