About the Item
Black Neoexpressionist Painting. This is an original artwork realized by TUSET in 2018. We can frame it in natural wood or black on request. The dimensions of the painting are 65 x 50 cm.
The title of this works is "From the Apollonian pictorial support to the impulsive Dionysian dance". Mixed media on paper (ink and sea water). Hand-signed by the artist on the reverse. Excellent condition. Totally Expressionist Landscape composition realized by TUSET in 2018. During this period, the artist realized several artworks on the beach with ballpoint pen ink and sea water, setting up his artist studio outdoors, and always with non-figurative representations.
These paintings were in the exhibition "Make (it) visible" by the artist TUSET at the Manolo Eirin Gallery in Carballo, as well as at the Costa da Morte Maritime Signals Interpretation Center in Camariñas and at the Metropolitan Forum of A Coruña where the artist's works were enormously successful.

Lin Ji, also known as Webson Ji, is a New York-based Chinese multimedia artist. He holds an M.A. degree in Sculpture from Savannah College of Art and Design and a B.F.A. degree in Public Art from China Academy of Art. Webson Ji is a member of the International Sculpture Center, a member of the New England Sculptors Association and an associate member of the National Sculpture Society. Ji’s practice focuses on the presentation of water, combining it with various industrial materials to present the viewer with a unique interpretation of his meditation.
Webson Ji's works have been widely exhibited nationally and internationally. His most recent solo exhibition was held at Obition, Seoul, South Korea 2020. Nick Hunt grew up in in Newport Beach in the 80’s and early 90’s. As Hunt states, “It was an unknown area to a lot of the world. Development was in progress, but at that point in time it was still mostly open land, populated with surfers and desert-beach dreamers. My work is inspired by this desert-ocean dangerous allure.”
Hunt’s work, while abstract, conjures a sense of history - both in their Light and Space influences and in the the rough beauty of the objects themselves. The scumbled, dented, sometimes bullet riddled surfaces reveal layers of color, painted on metal, and hint at a romantic complexity beneath the glossy enameled surfaces.
