On a recent painting trip to Europe, artist Faye Vander Veer visited the Rodin Museum in Paris, where a sense of calm contrasted with the city's bustling energy. Bright light cuts through the dark walls, highlighting the figures and creating a striking visual balance. A couple near the window listens intently to their recording devices while a young woman in the foreground gazes off to the right. Subtle details evoke an almost audible hush, as if whispers fill the air.

Artist Faye Vander Veer seeks out moments with engaging narratives and captures them with an impressionist style.
