During a trip to London, artist Onleio Marrero explored the city's wonderful sites. On one of his strolls along the Thames, he noticed the neo-gothic fountain dedicated to the 1834 emancipation of slaves. "It was temporarily cordoned off, but I chose to paint it without the barriers," says Onelio. The Victoria Tower can be seen in the distance, shining in the warm sunshine.

Artist Onelio Marrero paints impressionist scenes of everyday life. Whether he captures the romanticism of New York City or the soothing quiet of a rippling pond, he infuses each piece with the visual magic of the moment. He studied at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, where he mastered discerning color and values—giving him the tools to create work with superb spontaneous appearance. Onelio’s work is an appreciation for beauty in all its grandest forms; nature, art, and people.
