As part of his cityscape series, artist Stanislav Sidorov exhibits a street in Montmartre, Paris, after the rain. Couples go out on romantic dates outside the busy Le Consulat. Colorful puddles reflect the streetlights and animate the festive scene. Stanislav beautifully details the distinctive European architecture with a palette knife.

About the Artist
Stanislav Sidorov saturates his canvas with the expressive color characteristic of the Russian Realist School. While he is a versatile painter, Stanislav prefers painting the small town charms found in architecture and urban environments. He achieves a textured feel by using the pallet knife to apply copious amounts of emotion.

A fairy-tale-like atmosphere prevails with its incredible medieval architecture. The red roofs of the gothic, renaissance and baroque structures charmingly stand out. Stanislav paints the Vltava river encompassing the grand display and subtly reflecting the neighborhood scenery.
