This charming 19th-century oil depicts an intimate 18th-century parlour scene. Husband and wife inhabit the richly furnished interior, whilst their King Charles spaniel rests at their feet. To the background, a parrot can be seen perching patiently on its cage.
Presented in a contemporary black frame with gilt inner. Unsigned. On tin.
