About the Item
Katharina Hormel paints minimalistic every day scenes of life. The people she portrays are out and about going about their daily life, enjoying a walk in the park, cycling, playing football etc. In her work the artist shows that it is the little things in daily life that actually make us happy and that we sometimes forget to appreciate.
The gold changes depending on the light and makes for a warm contrast to the black, white and grey. Elegant in their color scheme Hormel's paintings are beautifully contemporary and unobtrusive, yet full of life, happiness and details.
