About the Item
This painting is one of a series called Somewhere In Provence and is based on my time there in spring of 2018. The colours and the way the sun hits the ground have inspired generations of artists and I was no exception! One evening, my husband and I decided to skip the restaurants and instead get some cheese, bread and wine and watch the sunset over Lourmarin Manor. Most magical meal I've ever had! This painting is acrylic and mixed media with lots of texture and depth. It's 18" x 24" size is perfect for any home whether large or small. Provence is one of the places I feel most comfortable and I think this is reflected in the finished piece.
