Dutch artist Carolien van Olphen has left a great impression in many places with her colorful portraits. In January 2022 she was nominated for the major international art prize 'ModPortrait 2021'. This is organized in Spain by the 'MEAM' and attracts a field of participants from all over the world. The painting we show here with the title 'Feeling Good' is from the same series by the same young man as the nominated portrait.
Carolien van Olphen was trained as an artist at the 'Classical Academy of Groningen' in the north of the Netherlands. Her work is colorful and calming at the same time. Although her colors sparkle and are cheerful, her paintings are calmly balanced, soothing with a good feeling.
