His fascination with works of the 16th and 17th centuries inspires his favourite themes; still life, the human body and landscape. In his village he observed a lady painting a hill and was impressed by the colors that, placed on the canvas, seemed more luminous and real than the hill itself. Goyo mainly uses acrylic in his works, whose main characteristic is the harmonious coexistence of the figurative and the abstract in the same subject.
