Excellent quality and condition full length portrait of McClellan in uniform as Commanding General of the US army under Abraham Lincoln during service in the Civil War. Rare historical portrait in excellent original condition ready to hang. Presented in a period gilt frame. Am 1888 posthumous half length portrait of Mclellan is with the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, USA. Measurements: 37" x 27" framed approx
