About the Item

Portrait of Lady in Blue Dress French School 18th century, painting done in oil on canvas depicting a gentlewoman. The female figure wears a light blue dress with white lace neckline, embellished with brooches and floral details, polychrome decorations that are repeated even in hairstyling. Framed by a red drape, the female figure emerges with her intense expression, face with a piercing gaze and a mocking smile capture the observer's attention. The 18th-century work of the French school comes from an Italian private collection and is presented within a pastille frame, in fair state of preservation, showing some old restoration.
