Beautiful 1940s pastel still life of apple blossoms in pink monkey vase by Eugenie May Pack Stiffler (American, 1870-1959). Signed lower left corner; title lower right edge. Presented under glass in giltwood-tone rustic frame. Image: 14"H x 11"W. Frame size: 21.75"H x 17.50"W.
Born in North Carolina on Feb. 8, 1870. Mrs. Stiffler was a resident of Redlands, CA from 1925. Primarily a miniaturist, she also painted full-size portraits. Exhibited: Calif. Society of Min. Painters, 1925; Artists Fiesta (LA), 1931; Egan Gallery (LA), 1934; Associated Artists (LA), 1936; Webb Gallery (LA), 1940; Society for Sanity in Art, 1941; Riverside AA, 1940-41.
