Henri Miloch
Henri Miloch was born in Trieste, Italy in 1898 but studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris and was a member of the Society of French Artists. His life and work was very much centred in Brittany, in northwestern France. Much of his work portrays Breton maritime life in the various ports, and local town observations, especially in the Concarneau area, where he worked and exhibited for much of his artistic career. From 1959 onward, he also had a workshop in Tours (Val de Loire).
