"Historic Woodlawn Cemetery (early spring)" is a rare, plein air oil painting by award-winning contemporary American artist, Kira Mountjoy-Pepka. This piece features a marble structure surrounded by the vibrant greens, pinks and magentas of early spring. 12x16" oil on canvas. Signed. Unframed.
Kira's work is known for pushing the vibrancy of color found in quiet still lifes in an unlabored, alla prima style. Born in 1982, she has worked in oils since she was 16 years old and her work is on permanent display in public and private collections around the country. She currently lives in Ohio.
