Pep Suari, from Barcelona, Spain, captures the intense light of the Mediterranean in his works. Even in his interior scenes, his color is luminous and captivating. From the beginning to the end, the colors are interrelated, resulting in an image subtle yet explicit. Explosion of intense color is his means of expression, and interpretation emerges from this chaos and abyss. Suari’s paintings aim to combine the abstract and figurative world without surrendering to one or the other. He has not followed the ultramodern tendencies; rather, he has followed what he believes to be his own way. Suari’s expressionistic style undraws his figures, granting them certain dynamics.
