About the Item
This piece of art combines landscape and still life and depicts the view of the lake from my window at my home near Savannah, Georgia. I am inspired by the southern sun and always try to convey the beauty of nature immersed in its gentle light. The work is done with oil pastels on thick paper. Oil pastel is one of my favorite materials. Its lightness and plasticity allow it to convey many nuances of the world around us. Meanwhile, it is a durable material that perfectly retains its brightness and saturation and can be stored in a frame under glass for as long as you like.
