Wonderful 1970s still life of Japanese irises and marguerite daisies by Winona Cappell (American, 20th century). Signed lower right corner. Unframed. Image size: 24"H x 18"W.
Cappell was a self-taught artist living in Redlands and later the Monterey Bay area. She exhibited throughout the central valley during the 1960-1970s. Her still life paintings were prize winners at numerous State Fairs and the annual All-Valley Art Show.
