ABOUT THIS PIECE:
This beautiful black and white photo named "Dusty Dale" was part of a landscape series shot in Patagonia. This is a limited edition, hand-signed piece with a certificate of authenticity.
Arriving at a certain place with the most southern organic garden was a delightful surprise. The setting itself was a work of art, with the rugged landscape blending seamlessly with the vibrant colors of the garden. It was a place where nature thrived, and the horses played an integral role in this harmonious ecosystem.
One morning, as the sun painted the sky with hues of gold and orange, I decided to venture out and witness the gauchos preparing the horses for the day ahead. It was a sight that filled me with awe and wonder, as I observed the intricate dance between humans and animals.
The gauchos, with their weathered faces and rugged attire, exuded a sense of wisdom and respect for the horses. They moved with a grace and confidence that only comes from years of working alongside these magnificent creatures. It was as if they spoke a language understood by both horse and man, a silent dialogue of trust and mutual understanding.
As an artist, I knew that capturing this connection through my lens would be a profound experience. The horses, with their strong and graceful bodies, became my muse. Their wild manes flowing in the wind, their eyes filled with curiosity and intelligence - these were the elements I sought to capture in my photographs.
But it was not just about capturing a beautiful image. It was about delving deeper into the art of animals, exploring the emotions, energy, and spirit that radiated from these magnificent creatures. It was about revealing the soul behind their eyes, the stories they had to tell.

These beautiful limited edition prints are on museum grade archival paper printed by the top fine-art print house. This artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity and are signed and numbered on the 1/2 white boarder.

ARTIST BIO:
Addison Jones is a Colorado-based multi-disciplined artist. She is an advertising photographer, fine artist, and creative director.
Through the lens of her camera, she translates geography, culture, and architecture into a universal language, crafting complex narratives without the need for words, and using light to illuminate emotion.
The daughter of creatives, Addison’s family moved frequently when she was growing up to follow her parents’ careers. Today, she remains just as nomadic—now following her own curiosity and intuition to new places in search of inspiration.

When she’s not creating, Addison loves snowboarding, exploring ice caves, hiking, and drinking tequila while challenging her 2 brothers to fishing competitions.

Addison Jones
Addison Jones is a world-class photographer and mixed-media artist based in the Midwest.
Jones uses her street art and mixed-media style to portray models from her own modern portrait photography. The result culminates in moody, sensual, and contemplative mixed-media art focusing on the humanity of the subject. Each of her pieces are original works.
Addison is known for layering her own photographs into complex street art and using the written word as a subtle texture feature. She utilizes silver and gold leaf, acrylics, and custom paints, including color changing, to add layers upon layers as she goes. In the end, it culminates in a piece that is viewed as a complex whole.
Jones begins each piece with a photograph from her own portfolio, and then free flows through each element, drawing inspiration as she works. She often says that her style often leads to mistakes that later become some of the best parts of the piece.
