Ce tirage fait partie de la série "Sacré Profane" C’est le cas de sa première émotion musicale vécue à 6 ans lorsque son père lui fit écouter la « Sonate au clair de lune » de Beethoven qui lui révéla son attrait pour l’harmonie. C’est aussi en confrontant dans sa pensée enfantine l’effrayant vertige de la mort aux préceptes que lui avaient enseignés les jésuites qui lui fit rejeter fermement tout emprise du religieux. Un voyage récent en Birmanie le réconcilia avec la quête de sens sur l’existence humaine. C’est la beauté paisible et sereine des représentations des divinités des temples bouddhistes qui lui entre-ouvrit le chemin de la spiritualité où la souffrance et le péché ne donnaient pas le tempo comme dans les représentations du sacré catholique. Ainsi par effet de transparence, il entremêle la cité et la nature, l’éclatant et le tamisé, le physique et l’immatériel, l’humain et le divin. Bâtie sur l’équilibre parfait du chiffre 3, la construction des photos de cette série emprunte à la forme des triptyques religieux et au rythme des trois mouvements d’une sonate. Elle ouvre sur des « retables » comme autant d’images nées de la résonance entre l’émotion sonore et la vision poétique.

Né en 1956, Bellec est un photographe qui expose et travaille entre la France et l'Espagne. Depuis 30 ans, son travail se fonde sur une recherche de rencontres et d’harmonie visuelle, au niveau des couleurs et des textures. Il aménage souvent ses œuvres en triptyque, symbole de l’équilibre. Bellec travaille son regard d’artiste de façon instinctive, en s’attachant à faire surgir le mystère poétique caché dans les replis du monde qui nous entoure. Il cherche à en capter la sensualité des détails et les anfractuosités, qu’il débusque, détourne, sublime. Le traitement des couleurs en aplats, la vibration des formes et le jeu sur les matières tissent la trame de ses recherches et traduisent une sensibilité souvent proche de la palette du peintre.
