About the Item

Evan Foster is a photographer whose work is rooted in the exploration of exotic landscapes and cultures. After nearly a decade leading marine and terrestrial-based adventures across the globe, Foster uses his travels as an opportunity to photograph an authentic world. Photographing people and places that inspire him, he aims to document and share the experiences that have enriched his life profoundly and helped him live more intentionally. “If people aren’t aware of their existence and beauty, those cultures, peoples, and ecosystems could be lost forever,” says Foster. In addition to photography and travel, Foster is passionate about philanthropy. Donating 20% of the net proceeds from his art, he works directly with grassroots organizations helping the various communities he visits during his travels. “Investing in the people that tirelessly work towards improving their communities,” Foster says, “I think, is the best way to show my appreciation.”
