About the Item

"Albert Einstein once said that mystery is the source of all true art and science. As I found myself looking into the eyes of this incredible animal, I realized I was seeing both. Mystery was truly an art form with his statuesque stance and chestnut coat dappled in black. But equally so, he embodied the wonders of science. I couldn’t help but notice a galactic sparkle in his left eye—from glaucoma, I later learned—and how so many unspoken wonders seemed to live within it." - Randal Ford Available Sizes: 30" x 45" Edition of 15 40" x 60" Edition of 10 48" x 72" Edition of 5 This photograph will be printed once payment has been received and will ship directly from the printer the artist works with. Your certificate of authenticity will be shipped separately from your print and in most cases will ship directly from the gallery. The Gallery is more than happy to provide clients with the next available edition number, however, the Gallery can only guarantee the specific edition number the client will receive once payment has been received.

A frozen moment in time allows us to observe the world in suspension and will often reveal a graphic beauty that might otherwise flash by in the blink of an eye and remain unnoticed. Whether observing the magnified eye of a bullfrog, or an eagle captured at several thousandths of a second in mid-flight, he is fascinated by the level of detail that can be revealed in a large format print. It is the stillness of a photograph that gives us time to pause and marvel at the myriad levels of detail in Nature’s grand design and allows us to reflect on the wonderful diversity of life on Earth. categories : Color Photography, 21st Century, Archival Pigment Print, Horse, Animal, Portrait, Lusitano, Equine, Equestrian...
