Born and raised in Germany, conceptual still life photographer Tom Schierlitz studied photography in Düsseldorf before moving to New York City in 1987. His unique viewpoint is informed by a discerning eye for details, managing to find striking visuals in the most ordinary objects as well as creating captivating images of cult treasures and mundane objects of desire.
