The collector receives an additional certificate of authenticity from the gallery. “FIRST DESCENT!” There are few residences as iconic as the Tower Penthouse in Badrutt’s Palace. This outstanding retreat is in a league of its own, commanding impeccable views from the lake to the surrounding Swiss alpine. The private tower has hosted kings, queens and dignitaries from around the world. Kelly turned the roof of the iconic hotel into a slope of it's own. A Man dressed in the hotel's uniform is skiing down next to a balcony, a tray with champagne glasses is hand. Another one is getting ready to start on the same journey further up the roof. The night sky in the background is pitch black, but the building shines bright with the façade lighting being reflected back by the snow. TONY KELLY was born in Dublin, Ireland, in 1975. He cut his teeth as a photojournalist, capturing the burgeoning celebrity culture in a city embracing newfound wealth. His voracious appetite for blue skies and sun-drenched panoramas drew him to Barcelona, where he embraced the "street voyeur" within. His quirky spin on daily life and the cultural idiosyncrasies surrounding him quickly became his distinctive signature style.
