It depicts a red Ferrari crashed against a palm tree on a roundabout. Its bright color glows in the Miami heat next to the dry grass and gray street. The Model in a silver dress, seemingly the driver, is leaning against the car, enjoying the sun and smiling. She is unfazed by the accident, which gives the image a surreal yet iconic feel. Tony Kelly is one of the most influential fine art photographers of our time. He plays with humor and provocation, and although highly polished, his work is playfully subversive, which forces you to stop and think, inviting us to venture beneath the glossy veneer and confront stereotypes, taboos, and role reversals. Kelly was born in Dublin, Ireland, in 1975. He cut his teeth as a photojournalist, capturing the burgeoning celebrity culture in a city embracing newfound wealth.
