22"x36" edition of 7, this photograph by New York photographer Ashok Sinha, captures the unusual architecture and landscape of Los Angeles, California in the late 1950's. This stunning photograph of the iconic McDonald's in Downey, Los Angeles is composed against a cobalt blue sky, which compliments the architectural feature of the famous original 'golden arches' bright yellow and magnificent sweeping elevation. Built in 1953 by Architect: Stanley Clark Meston, this retro McDonald's is a still active example of the 1950's style of architecture and West Coast Americana.
Ashok Sinha's photographs have been exhibited at The Museum of the City of New York, the International Center of Photography, and The Royal Photographic Society.

Ashok Sinha
Ashok Sinha is a New York-based photographer whose large-scale landscape photographs picture uncommon perspectives. While his interest in the beauty of the natural world endows a unique attention to the unnoticed, his commercial career as an architectural photographer informs bodies of work that focus on the built environment. His photographs have been exhibited at The Museum of the City of New York, the International Center of Photography and The Royal Photographic Society. Sinha is also the founder of Cartwheel Initiative, a nonprofit that works with displaced and refugee youth, which empowers these young people to tell their stories through the use of photography and multimedia.
