Jerry Siegel is inspired by the work of William Christenberry, Sally Mann, Andrew Moore, Walker Evans and Jim Dow.
Photographer Jerry Siegel was born and raised in Selma, Alabama and graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta. His first monograph, “Facing South: Portraits of Southern Artists,” was published by the University of Alabama Press in 2011. This body of work has been featured in solo exhibitions at six museums in Alabama, Georgia, and Louisiana. His photographs are in many private and corporate collections, including those of the Ogden Museum of Art, the Birmingham Museum of Art, and eleven other southeastern US museums. Jerry Siegel's latest monograph "Black Belt Color," features images from decades of documenting his hometown of Selma, Alabama, and the surrounding area. These images set forth the unique cultural landscape of that area, known as the Black Belt.

Jerry Siegel
Photographer Jerry Siegel was born and raised in Selma and graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta. His first monograph, Facing South: Portraits of Southern Artists, was published by the University of Alabama Press in 2011. This body of work has been featured in solo exhibitions at six museums in Alabama, Georgia, and Louisiana. Siegel is inspired by the works of William Christenberry, Sally Mann, Andrew Moore, Walker Evans and Jim Dow. "Something And/Or Nothing? - Nike" is a figurative landscape photograph with hues of green, yellow, and black.
Born in Philadelphia, Andrew Herzog is a multi-disciplinary artist and designer currently working in New York City. Herzog creates a variety of works that explore the relationship between the viewer and the artist with themes of accessibility and prioritized sight, often taking the form of photographs, books, films, site-specific sculptures and interactive performances, objects and drawings. Herzog defines “prioritized sight” as how we choose, consciously or unconsciously, the things we see; what we engage or empathize with; and what we understand or misinterpret, with varying degrees of implication.
Herzog received an MA in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. He was the co-founder and partner at the design and technology studio HAWRAF, and led projects at the Google Creative Lab focusing on AI, creative tools and accessibility. Also, Herzog is adjunct professor at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Herzog has lectured and exhibited works at the A4 Art Museum, Chengdu, Sichuan, China; The Franklin Institute, Philadelphia, PA; Q21 MuseumsQuartier Wien, Vienna, Austria; and The National Museum of Art of Romania; among others.
