About the Item
Original vintage linen backed, travel poster to INDIA The Wonderful Land. The center image of this poster is the Taj Mahal at Agra, India with the Qutb Minar minaret red tower in the left background. The Gateway of India landmark of Mumbai with its hue archway is shown sitting at the water's edge at Apollo Bundar. (British architect George Wittet designed the Gateway and the gateway was built to commemorate the visit of King George V to India in 1911.) Additional landmarks are also shown in this poster as well. A great travel poster for India.
