Marina Ried (born Marina Rsjevskaja, 1921–1989)
The Russian-born German stage and film actress, Marina Ried was the niece of the film star Olga Chekhova. Born in Moscow, she moved to Germany as a child, and after she was married to the actor Rudolf Platte between 1942 and 1953.
