As light shines on the adobe fireplace, certain parts of the room such as the wooden-beamed ceiling and the minimalist lamp on a built-in bench appear in shadow. The minimalist decor in the interior space of a few houseplants on the window sill and a lamp with a small amphora are contrasted with the leafy green bushes just outside the window that introduce the viewer to the desert landscape bordered by mountains.
