Wilson, Edward A. (American, born Scotland, 1886 - 1970). UNTITLED - SHIPPING YARD. Lithograph, 1945. Edition of 25, signed and numbered 23/25. 11 x 13 inches (image), 13 1/2 x 15 inches (sheet). Some adhesive residue at corners, else in excellent condition. Better known as Edward A. Wilson, he was a prominent book illustrator and commerical artist. This series of lithographs relating to pipelines was likely a commission related to that industry during WWII, and as it got back into domestic producUNTITLED - SHIPPING YARDtion following the war.
