Composition is an original decorative object realized by Nino Franchina in the second half of the XX century.
Original iron and wood.
Iron sculpture composed by welded nails and wooden cylinder base (section of tree trunk).
Signed under the base and on the shaft of the nail that connects it to the base.

"The material that I love the most is iron [...] Iron bends very docilely; when it is incandescent it has an immense charm, it writhes, flickers, offers itself, dances". These are the words that the artist uses to describe his works. The sculpture is realized with different iron nails that compose a structure. The base is formed by a section of a trunk.
